These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website located at rowanhousebeauty.com, including all content, features, and services offered on or through it (the “Site”), operated by Rowan House Beauty (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By creating an account, placing an order, or otherwise using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account or place an order on the Site. By using the Site, you represent that you meet this requirement.

2. Accounts

To place an order you may be required to create an account, either via email/username sign-in or by signing in with your Google account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at rowanshouse9@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, provide false information, or are used for fraudulent activity.

3. Products and Pricing

We make reasonable efforts to display our products and their prices accurately. However:

  • Colors, textures, and finishes may appear slightly different on your screen than in person.
  • We reserve the right to correct pricing or product description errors at any time, even after an order has been placed, and to cancel any order affected by such an error with a full refund.
  • Product availability is not guaranteed until an order is confirmed. Items in your cart are not reserved until checkout is complete.
  • We reserve the right to limit quantities purchased per person, household, or order.

4. Orders and Payment

By placing an order, you are making an offer to purchase the product(s) in your cart, which we may accept or decline. An order is not confirmed until you receive an order confirmation from us.

Currently accepted payment methods and their details are provided at checkout and in your order confirmation email. We reserve the right to add, remove, or change accepted payment methods at any time.

You are responsible for providing accurate billing, shipping, and contact information. We are not liable for delayed or misdirected orders resulting from incorrect information you provided.

5. Shipping

Shipping timelines, costs, and coverage areas are described on our Shipping Policy. Delivery dates provided at checkout or in confirmation emails are estimates, not guarantees. Risk of loss and title to products pass to you upon our delivery to the shipping carrier.

6. Returns, Refunds, and Cancellations

Our return and refund policy is described in full on our Returns Policy. Final sale or non-returnable items, if any, will be clearly marked on the product page at time of purchase.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, product photography, and site design, is owned by or licensed to Rowan House Beauty and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any Site content without our prior written consent.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, other users’ accounts, or our systems

We reserve the right to refuse service, cancel orders, or terminate accounts at our discretion for violations of this section.

The Site may use or link to third-party services (for example, payment processors, email delivery, or authentication providers such as Google Sign-In). We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third-party services, and your use of them is subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site and all products are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that product results will meet your expectations.

Product usage information is provided for general guidance only and does not constitute medical or dermatological advice. Please review ingredient lists before use and, if you have sensitive skin or allergies, consult a qualified professional or patch-test first. If you experience irritation, redness, itching, or any other adverse reaction, discontinue use immediately and seek medical advice if needed.

11. Limitation of Liability

You agree to indemnify and hold Rowan House Beauty, its officers, employees, and agents harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the Site.

Our collection and use of your personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. We process personal data in accordance with the Nigeria Data Protection Act, 2023.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page; the updated Terms take effect as soon as they are posted, unless we state a later effective date. For material changes (for example, changes affecting your legal rights, payment terms, or how disputes are resolved), we will make reasonable efforts to notify registered users directly by email in addition to posting the update.

Updated Terms apply to orders placed after the effective date. An order you have already placed remains governed by the Terms that were in effect at the time you placed it, unless a change is required by law or you separately agree otherwise.

15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Site are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Rivers State, Nigeria.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
